Established in 2015 at the legendary Lighthouse Hockey, Islanders Anxiety is a weekly podcast hosted by Dan Saraceni and Michael Leboff, two friends who share a hockey team and a propensity for worry. Mike and Dan discuss the team's most recent games and goings-on, analyzing everything through a variety of lenses and ultimately laughing about the Islanders' history, opponents and media coverage. They have a true fan's perspective: with no insider information and decades of baggage, they helplessly live and die with the Islanders fortunes, which can be a scary place to be. Over the years, they have branched out to other projects including Weird Islanders:The Podcast!where they are joined by a guest to remember a player who made an impression despite spending just a short time on Long Island, Islanders Award Winners, an audio documentary series which focuses on seasons that saw an Islander take home a major NHL trophy, and a Patreon page with even more exclusive content.
The hosts receive a portion of the sales of each shirt. Our entire portion will be donated directly to the Center of Dementia Research, located in Orangeburg, NY. One very special person dear to all Islanders fans dealt with the severe symptoms of aging. On August 28, 2015, Al Arbour passed away at the age of 82 after suffering from health problems related to dementia.
If you'd like to donate to the Center for Dementia Research without buying a shirt, you cando so here.
