In Toledo, the franchise played 11 seasons, first as the Blades and then as the Hornets. They moved about two hours north to Lansing, and became the first and last minor league team that city has had.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Lancers wouldn't last the full season. They played 41 games, going 12-28-1 before folding in January 1975. Supposedly, their arena only held 900 fans and they couldn't even fill half of that.
