Albuquerque Six Guns
The Albuquerque Six Guns were a one-year wonder in the CHL, playing the 1973-74 season at Tingley Coliseum. They were the first professional hockey team in the state of New Mexico and left behind one of the coolest logos around. Their colors were blue and red and featured a cartoon gun slinger who also carried a hockey stick and wore skates. The team was bad as they would only win 16 of 72 games that season and fold due to financial difficulty at the end of the year. But we thank you, Albuquerque, for this awesome cartoon hockey player!
