Moncton Beavers

The Moncton Beavers name has been used by a number of teams in Moncton over the years since the 1960s. In the early 1960s, the team was in the Nova Scotia senior league for a few seasons. The name was revived in the late 1970s in New Brunswick Junior A, which is the team we are paying homage to with this design that the team wore are their crests. These Beavers played for three seasons in the NBJHL. The Beavers name was revived in the 90s and early 00s by a team playing in the Maritime Junior A league. The more modern Beavers can claim Patrice Cormier as an NHL alum, as he played a number of seasons for the Winnipeg Jets and Atlanta Thrashers.
