If you know, you know. Houston is a hockey town.

While the Space City hasn't had a true hockey team since 2013, there are still tons of hockey fans who know that Houston is a hockey town and needs a team again. With the earliest team dating back to 1946, Houston has long had hockey roots. In the 1960s, the Apollos brought hockey to the Coliseum as a Montreal affiliate. Then the Aeros and Gordie thrilled fans in the 1970s with back to back WHA titles. More recently, the Aeros were reformed and had a great two decade run that brought two more titles to town.
