St. Boniface Saints

The St. Boniface Saints were a long-running junior 'A' team from St. Boniface, Manitoba. They played in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League from 1967-2000. The franchise originally stated as the Winnipeg Rangers back in 1956.

The team won four league titles in four different decades; 1966, 1971, 1981, and 1994. The 1981 team went 41-6-1, the best record in franchise history. The 1971 team went on to win the Anavet Cup, which is the winner between the top teams in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Colton Orr and Travis Hamonic are notable NHL players who played for the Saints.

The Saints moved and became the Winnipeg Saints in 2000, and moved on again the Virden in 2012.
