Acton Sabres

The Acton Sabres were a junior 'B' team from Acton, Ontario that played in the Central Ontario Junior B Hockey League from 1976 to 1984. The team lasted eight seasons at the junior 'B' level but was not particularly successful, winning fewer than 10 games in most of them. Their best campaign came in 1980-81, when they went 25-13-6.

The club began in the early 1970s in junior 'C' and 'D' hockey, and after the junior 'B' years it dropped back to junior 'C', playing until 1992 when the franchise moved to nearby Erin and became the Erin Shamrocks.
