Sands Point Tigers

The Sands Point Tigers or Sands Point Hockey Club only spent one year in the EAHL in 1942-43 but played hockey in New York for many years. They were part of the MAHL from 1933-1952, a small amateur league in New York that would play prior to the Rover games at Madison Square Garden. So even though the Tigers were from Long Island, they would play their games in the City. Assumedly, they must have gotten ambitious at one point and tried moving up a league for that one year they played in the EAHL.
