Abbotsford Flyers

The Abbotsford Flyers were a junior 'A' team from Abbotsford, British Columbia from 1976-1985. The team played in the British Columbia Junior Hockey League and styled their logo in a variation of the Philadelphia team by the same name.

The Flyers were fairly successful and made the playoffs most seasons, but they had an epic run in 1982-83. They won the BCJHL going away with an impressive 46-9-1 record. They would go on to win not only the British Columbia A title but also win the Alberta/British Columbia title and the Abbott Cup, the western Canada junior A title. They would finally fall in the national title game against the North York Rangers.

The Flyers would move to Delta, British Columbia in 1985 and fold in 1988.
