Peoria Prancers
The Peoria Prancers were a short-lived franchise in the IHL from 1982-84. They lasted in the IHL for two seasons, compiling a mediocre 54-82-19 record along the way. They ran out of money after the 1983-84 season, and the franchise reverted back to the IHL who renamed the team the Peoria Rivermen, a name they would use until 1996 when they moved to San Antonio. Despite only a short existence, the Prancers left behind one of the cooler and more unique hockey logos that you'll see.
