Cincinnati Gardens

For more than 60 years, Cincinnati Gardens was a historic venue in the Queen City. The Gardens hosted a multitude of hockey teams over the years, including the Cincinnati Mohawks, Wings, Swords, Cyclones, Mighty Ducks, and Thunder.  But it wasn't just a historic hockey arena, the arena also hosted Cincinnati's last NBA team, the Cincinnati Royals, as well as indoor soccer and football. It also had some of the biggest musical acts in the world come through its doors including Elvis, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, the Grateful Dead, Madonna, and the Jackson 5. The Gardens opened in February 1949 and closed for good in March 2018.
