Dallas Texans

In late 1941, pro hockey made its debut in the state of Texas when the Dallas Texans and the Fort Worth Rangers joined the American Hockey Association (AHA). The Texans' would win only 12 of 50 games their first year, and their time in the AHA would end after only that one season as the league ceased operations at the conclusion of the season. The team would be revived in 1945-46 as a member of the USHL, playing four years in that league.
