Spokane Flyers
There were a number of different iterations of the Spokane Flyers, but for the most part, the franchise operated as a senior amateur team in the WIHL from about 1948 through 1982 with some stops and starts in between. The Flyers won the league title 8 times, and went on to win the 1976 and 1980 Allan Cups, which were a defacto national title. The Flyers can claim Bill Goldthorpe as an alum, as he played for them towards the end of his career in 1979.
