Broome County Blades

The Broome County Blades from Slap Shot are an amalgamation of two NAHL teams from the 1970s; the Broome County Dusters and the Philadelphia Firebirds. Obviously, the Blades' name is a play on the Dusters but with the Erie Blades' nickname substituted (another NAHL team). Their green, red, and gold jerseys are also a direct copy of the Philadelphia Firebirds' jerseys. Barclay Donaldson, the captain of the Blades, is another victim to Reg's teasing and fights Dave Carlson. With Carlson out, the Chiefs turn to the Hanson brothers who make their debut and leave the Chiefs to victory with their aggressive style of play. Aggressive hockey is back in town!
