Peterborough Patriots

When Slap Shot's Charlestown Chiefs head to Peterborough, all hell breaks loose before the game even starts. Steve Hanson picks a fight with one of the Peterborough players in the warmups and before you know, it a full on brawl breaks loose among all the players with no referees in sight. The Patriots black, gold, and white color scheme is likely a play on the Syracuse Blazers, an NAHL team from the 1970s as they wore similar colors and most of the teams in Slap Shot were based on NAHL teams. We've created our own logo for the Patriots, since they didn't have one.
