Philadelphia Falcons
With the Rockets folding after the 1941-42 season, the Philadelphia Falcons took up the mantle as Philly's hockey team in the EAHL for the 1942-43 season. The Falcons did reasonably well, winning more or less half of their games each season. Once the war started, the team disbanded after the 1945-46 season. The Philadelphia Rockets would step in and play in the AHL during this time. The Falcons did return to the ice after the war for the 1951-52 season, although that team folded in December 1952 due to poor attendance after only completing 25 games.
