Philadelphia Ramblers
The EHL's Philadelphia Ramblers joined the league in 1955, taking the name of a former AHL team in the city. They were never particularly successful on the ice but did make it to the EHL finals in 1957. After the 1963-64 season the team packed up and moved a few miles across the Delware River to Cherry Hill, NJ to become the Jersey Devils. Probably the Ramblers' most famous alums are Ted Harris who went on to have a long NHL career in Monteal and Minnesota, and John Brophy the EHL legend and former Toronto head coach.
