Anaheim Bullfrogs
The Anaheim Bullfrogs were one of the most popular teams in Roller Hockey International during the 1990s. They played out of Arrowhead Pond to crowds of around 10,000 per game for much of their run. The team was also very successful on the rink, as they won two RHI titles and a Major League Roller Hockey title when they joined that league for one season.
The Bullfrogs played five seasons in RHI, winning the inaugural 1993 league title with a 13-0-1 record. They would repeat as champs in 1997. RHI fell apart after four seasons, so the team moved to MLRH with the Buffalo Wings. The Bullfrogs would win the league title in their only season of MLRH before that league also went under. RHI came back for one year in 1999, and the Bullfrogs almost won another title, losing in the final to the St. Louis Vipers.
Glen Metropolit is probably the most famous NHL alum from the Bullfrogs. He was on the 1997 Bullfrogs team inbetween IHL seasons, and would go on to play in the NHL.
