Newmarket 87s

The Newmarket 87s started play for the 1987-88 season in the Central Ontario Junior B League (COJHL). The Newmarket Flyers and the Junior A league folded in 1987, and the 87s were put together to fill the void with a B team. The 87s spent five years in the league until they moved up to Junior A when the provincial league was re-created in 199 and they spent one season in that league.
