Florida Hammerheads

The Florida Hammerheads were an original Roller Hockey International franchise for the 1993 season playing out of Miami Arena. Unfortunately, they were the worst of the bunch. In the 14 game season, they went 2-12 and played to small crowds in a full size arena. Towards the end of the year, they moved to West Palm Beach Arena which was a much more manageable size. Year two wasn't much better, as the team finished with a 4-17-1 record and folded at the end of the season. At least they left with an absolutely awesome 1990s shark logo!
