Portland Rage

The Portland Rage were an original Roller Hockey International franchise, playing the 1993 and 1994 seasons in Portland, Oregon at Memorial Coliseum. The team was funded by the owners of a local sports store Conyard's Sport and Hockey. Tim Conyard, son of the owner, who was a roller hockey player himself convinced his dad and uncle to buy the team and the Portland Rage were born. The team was stocked with mostly Conyard's connections from  St. John's University in Minnesota and Portland Winterhawks players. The team would only win 15 of 33 games across two seasons and fold after the 1994 season.
