Orlando Rollergators
The Orlando Rollergators were a one-season wonder in Roller Hockey International with an absolutely minor league 1990s looking logo. The team was originally the Edmonton Sled Dogs but moved to Orlando for the 1995 season. The Rollergators were doomed from the start, owned by the NJ Devils team orthopedist and Slava Fetisov, who were many miles away and already had tried to pilot the failed Las Vegas Flash franchise. Sometimes it seems like RHI was just a way to get NHL adjacent people to throw some money in.
The Rollergators already were second fiddle in their own arena, as they were competing for dates with an established arena football team. The Rollergators got weekday night home dates and their attendance of around 1,000 per game showed it. The team won only 7 of 23 games and was sold to new ownership after the season, and would become the Orlando Jackals.
