Buffalo Wings
The Buffalo Wings joined Roller Hockey International for the 1997 season after the implosion of the Buffalo Stampede franchise. The Wings had been the Phoenix Cobras, then the Empire State Cobras, and re-settled in Buffalo for their third rebranding. Unfortunately for the Wings, it would also be the last regular season of RHI. The Wings went 6-18 in the 1997 season. When RHI came back for a year in 1999, the Wings were a part of it again, going 13-13 in their season season.
