Ottawa Loggers
The Ottawa Loggers were an expansion franchise for Roller Hockey International for the 1995 season. The team played at the Ottawa Civic Center in the summer of 1995, and the arena didn't have air conditioning. On the rink, they won 14 of 24 games (unclear how many of those wins were at home in the heat) and had a decent season. Off the ice, the team was a mess. Their original owner Horn Chen, who actually owned a number of minor league franchises in various sports, sold the team after the season. The ownership after that was pretty dubious. Chen's original buyers - mid-20s owners of a moving business - were rejected when their check bounced, so he sold it on to businessman Michael Clary. Clary then inexplicably had the moving business owners come in and run the team. Regardless, it didn't work and the Loggers won only 3 games in their second season and went out of business.
