Penticton Knights
The Penticton Knights were a Junior A hockey team from Penticton, BC, that played in the BCJHL between 1979-1989. The team was quite successful on the ice, and won two Abbott Cups as Western Canada's Junior A champs in 1985 and 1986. The 1985 team included future NHLer Joe Murphy. Amazingly, two big names that played for the Knights weren't a part of the Abbott Cup teams. Ray Ferraro played for the Knights in 1981-82 and Brett Hull played for the Knights for two seasons from 1982-84.
Unfortunately, the Knights would fall off after the Abbott Cup wins and fold in December of 1989.
