San Diego Barracudas

The San Diego Barracudas were an original Roller Hockey International franchise and had one of the most memorable logos with a cool 1990s sunglassed fish skating and holding a hockey stick. The team played four seasons at the San Diego Sports Arena and were originally owned by the San Diego Gulls. The team would eventually be sold to RHI's ownership and apparently lost $300,000 per year. They were never particularly successful on the ice with only one season above .500. Their end was particularly ignonomous as the team got in a spat with Sports Arena management and left town. Their final games were played at the Great Western Forum and something called Stuart's Roller World.
