Edmonton Sled Dogs

The Edmonton Sled Dogs had one of the best color setups in Roller Hockey International. The team was part of RHI's massive expansion in 1994 to 24 teams, which doubled the size of the league. Unfortunately it was short-lived, as the Sled Dogs only lasted for one summer season. The team went 9-10-3 at the rink, but faced financial issues off of it almost immediately. They were sold one month into the season, as the owner likely saw the writing on the wall. Then, they were evicted from Northlands Coliseum by Peter Pocklington and played their last three games in Saskatoon. They would move to Orlando the next summer and become the Orlando Jackals.
