Anchorage Wolverines
The Anchorage Wolverines were an independent senior league team during the 1970s from 1973-78. They played against various in-state and out-of-state clubs at the Anchorage Sports Arena. As far as we know, none of their players ever made it to the big time, but they were initially coached by Milan Marcetta who played many years in the WHL and a few years with Minnesota in the NHL. They were later coached by Kelvin "Brush" Christiansen who later went on to coach UAA in the 1990s.
