Three defunct Kansas teams, two from Topeka and one from Wichita, on shirts, hoodies, jerseys, hats, and drinkware.

Kansas hockey has mostly been Central Hockey League hockey, in both versions of that league. We make apparel for three of the teams it left behind, in many cases the only apparel that exists for them anywhere.

We're a family-run small business bringing back the designs and the histories of long-lost hockey teams from Kansas and across the US and Canada.

Hockey Teams in Kansas

Two different leagues have called themselves the Central Hockey League, and Kansas had teams in both.

Wichita: the Wind

The Wichita Wind played in the original Central Hockey League from 1980 to 1983.

Topeka: Scarecrows and Tarantulas

Topeka got its turn after the Central Hockey League name was revived in the 1990s. The Topeka Scarecrows played in the CHL from 1998 to 2001, then carried on for two more seasons as a junior team in the United States Hockey League.

The Topeka Tarantulas tried the CHL again in 2004โ€“05 and lasted one season.

Wichita still has the Thunder. The three teams on this page are gone, and that's the part worth wearing.

Three Kansas teams that don't skate anymore.
