North Bay Centennials

The North Bay Centennials starting play as a major junior team in 1982. The team had previously been the Niagara Falls Flyers, relocating where there wasn't a suitable arena in Niagara Falls. The Centennials spent 20 seasons in North Bay, winning the league title in 1994. The team played at North Bay Memorial Gardens. 

The team has a number of notable NHL alums including Kevin & Derian Hatcher, Nick Kypreos, and Steve Montador. 

The team would be sold and relocated to Michigan in 2002 citing declining revenue.
